NISEKO INFO
Niseko Ski Resort is officially Japan’s #1 snow resort. Comprised of 4 interlinked ski resorts – Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village and An’nupuri – it is renowned for its consistency and quality of powder snow throughout the winter.
Niseko has a world-class dining scene with restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. Fantastic quality and the service is awesome regardless whether you pay ¥1000 or ¥5,000. There are many options scattered over all the areas but most of the dining opportunities are in Hirafu. Furano is smaller than Hirafu and has a resort side and a downtown, which we are looking forward to exploring this season. Our YES staff will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Hirafu also has the vibrant nightlife that Niseko is so famous for. Looking for some Karaoke? Then check out the Angel Karaoke bar, or maybe a game of pool or ping pong then head to the Half note bar. Lots of nightclubs with DJs too. Whatever your style, Niseko has something for you.
Spend your rest day checking out some activities available in Niseko, there’s lots to choose from. Onsen – Hot Spring Baths might be a nice option to relax those tired muscles or maybe a trip to one of the local museums is more your style. There are plenty of massage options available around town too. If your looking for a little adrenaline you could go snowmobiling… get your rev on! Ask the YES team for ideas.
So you’re traveling to a foreign country and you don’t speak Japanese? Never fear, you’ll be fine as most of the resort speaks English quite well.
To make the most of your Japanese skiing experience, we usually take a day trip or two, typically to either Kiroro or Rusutsu. These day trips will deliver more great Japan skiing experiences. Some of our absolute best and deepest days have been at Kiroro! Rusustsu has dream groomer and wonderful tree skiing and the Chandalier Bowl leaves you breathless when the sun lights it up.
We keep out program flexible to take advantage of the weather. For this reason we provide lift passes as part of the program.
We offer a variety of shared chalets and apartments for our guests. All have both twin and single room options, and all are located in the centre of Hirafu village, convenient for the slopes and all off-snow amenities.

Sunday is our first day on snow. We create the groups and start skiing. A few easy runs will have your ski legs back and then we get right into it. We try for a day off on the Wednesday but this could change to accommodate either the cat day or weather (favorable and otherwise).
