Conditions of booking

Please read the terms and conditions below appropriate to your booking (terms vary by resort booked). Completion of this booking form is confirmation that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

In case of any discrepancy between these terms and those summarised below, the full terms will apply.

A refundable, transferable deposit per person and a signed booking form is required at the time of booking.*

Should the requested reservation be unavailable, naturally the deposit is fully refundable.

Payment of the deposit will indicate acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Whistler Programs Booking Conditions

For Full Package programs, a non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit of $1,000 CAD (+3.5% credit card processing fee) per person and a signed booking form (electronically) is required at the time of booking.***

For Instruction Only weekly programs the deposit is $799 (+3.5% credit card processing fee).

Should the requested reservation be unavailable the deposit will be fully refundable (processing fees are not refundable).

For Multi-day programs over several weeks, the full payment of the program price is due at the time of booking. Once the program is confirmed, no refunds will be possible.

Payment of this deposit will indicate acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

***COVID-19 UPDATE***

We have made a change to our policy so that the booking deposit will be fully refundable up until 30 days prior to program start for COVID-19 specific travel restrictions. Please refer to the full Terms & Conditions for details.

The deposit paid for the WBSSU program can be transferred to another program, or is refundable if:

  • you are not selected by Whistler Blackcomb after your interview

or

  • you are unable to get a visa to work in Canada

Deposit payment is by credit card through the form on this website.

Please note that a 3.5% surcharge will be applied to all credit card charges.

Balance payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer, further details will be provided once the booking is confirmed by YES Tours.

If no alternative payment has been received by YES Tours 60 days prior to the program start date, we reserve the right to charge the full balance payment to the credit card used for the initial deposit.

Final Balance is due 60 days prior to departure.***

YES Tours may charge this balance to the credit card used for the deposit payment if no alternative payment has been received by that date, or may cancel your reservation.

***COVID-19 Update***

We have made a change to our policy so that the booking deposit and full payment will be fully refundable (minus any lift pass costs) up until 30 days prior to program start. We understand that there is no way to predict the outcome of these next few months so we have updated our policy to give you all as much time to feel comfortable that you’re making plans without risking your deposit.  Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about our new policy.

Amendments of confirmed arrangements – min. fee of $25 per revision + any applicable charges.

A late booking fee of up to $100 may apply for bookings made within 30 days prior to departure.

Minimum fees for cancellations are as follows:

More than 60 days prior to program start date: Deposit is forfeited, any further payments may be refunded (minus costs incurred).

Within 60 days prior to program start date: 100% of total program cost may apply, no refund.

Please note: Once full payment is made there is no refund available (except due to COVID-19) – we recommend taking out travel insurance at time of booking to cover any unforeseen reasons you may need to cancel your trip.***

N.B. We consider travel insurance compulsory and advise that this is taken out when booking. Please make sure your Travel Insurance coverage includes course/program/travel cancelation coverage.

YES Tours requires all clients participating on the instructor training course staying in YES accommodation to provide a CAD$500 cash damage deposit on arrival into your accommodation. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, subject to a thorough inspection for damage to the property at completion of the program.

The deposit is due at time of check in at the chalet. If you prefer to pay the deposit by credit card, a non-refundable 3.5% fee will apply.

All prices are in Canadian dollars and could be subject to increase until final payment has been made.

Currency adjustments, airport taxes, passport and visa costs, meals, beverages, laundry, excess baggage charges, insurance. Additional costs caused by weather or failure of transport services beyond the control of the tour operator, their principal or their agent are also not included.

YES Tours Inc. reserves the right to modify program details regarding dates, prices and or schedules in any way, without notice. YES has the right to change accommodations to a property of the same or higher standard.

The right is also reserved to decline to accept, cancel or withdraw any tour person. Refunds can not be made, under any circumstances, for services, accommodation, instruction, lift passes and functions not utilized and an itemization of costs will not be rendered. YES Tours Inc. accepts no responsibility for any accidents, damage, loss, injury, sickness, death, cancellation, delay, detention, deviations, war, strikes, quarantine or other unforeseen events associated with the willful act or omission of any of its agents or principals.

Final documentation will be issued only when this completed form & full payment is received by YES Tours Inc.

Niseko Programs Booking Conditions

A non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit of $2,000 + 3.5% credit card processing fee per person and a signed booking form is required at the time of booking.

Should the requested reservation be unavailable the deposit will be fully refundable.

Payment of this deposit will indicate acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Deposit payment is by credit card through the form on this website.

Please note that a 3.5% surcharge will be applied to all credit card charges.

Balance payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer. Please send your payment by Interac e-transfer to info@yestours.com and it will autodeposit.

If no alternative payment has been received by YES Tours 90 days prior to the program start date, we reserve the right to charge the full balance payment to the credit card used for the initial deposit.

Final Balance is due 90 days prior to departure.

Wanaka Programs Booking Conditions

Deposit payment is required to secure a booking. No booking will be accepted and confirmed without the payment of this deposit.

Please see the section on “Payment Methods” for details of how to complete the deposit payment.

As we offer the Wanaka program in both $AUD and $NZD dollars, it’s up to you in which currency you would like to make your booking.

Please note that if you want to make a payment using a credit card you will need to book your program in $NZD.

We require a $1000 per/person deposit to secure your place on the program.

Italy Program Booking Conditions

A non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit of $2,500 per person and a signed booking form is required at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until the deposit payment has been received by YES Tours.

Should the requested reservation be unavailable the deposit will be fully refundable.

Payment of this deposit will indicate acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Deposit and balance payments should be made by interac e-transfer to info@yestours.com

If you cannot pay by e-transfer, please let us know and we will send you a payment link from Stripe, our credit card processing system. Please note that a 3.5% surcharge will be applied to all credit card charges.

Final Balance is due 30 days prior to departure. YES Tours reserve the right to cancel your booking without refunding the deposit if full payment is not received on time.

A late booking fee of up to $100 may apply for bookings made within 30 days prior to departure.

Minimum fees for cancellations are as follows:

After the initial $2,500 deposit, the final full amount is due by 30 days before the program start date, approximately Dec 13th.

1.      If you cancel 30 days or more before arrival, you forfeit your deposit.

2.      If you cancel 29 – 8 days before arrival, cancellation fee is 50% of total booking cost.

3.      If you cancel within 7 days before arrival, no refund is available.

N.B. We consider travel insurance compulsory and advise that this is taken out when booking. Please make certain you have proper travel insurance for your trip, including medical coverage. We recommend you ensure that you are covered for winter sports, and have sufficient cancellation insurance for the flights and hotel.
