These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings of YES Tours programs. Some terms are specific to particular programs, see below for details. Making a booking with YES Tours means you accept these terms. These terms may be revised and updated from time to time.
To make a booking, you need to submit your signed booking form and pay us a deposit.
If the program you requested to book is not available, naturally the deposit is refundable.
Your payment of the deposit indicates your acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

WHISTLER PROGRAM BOOKINGS
DEPOSIT:
YOUR BOOKING IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR DEPOSIT:
We need to receive your deposit payment and the electronically signed booking form to secure your place on one of our programs.
Please be aware that your program booking is not confirmed until we have received your deposit payment and sent you our booking confirmation. ***
DEPOSIT AMOUNT:
If your program includes accommodation: the deposit is $1,000 CAD (+3.5% credit card processing fee) per person.
If you are joining us for our weekly instruction only program: the deposit is $899 CAD (+3.5% credit card processing fee).
If you are joining us for a multi-day program over several weeks like our CASI advanced programs or a private group program: the full program balance is needed to confirm your place. If you turn out not to be able to attend all days of the program, we won’t refund any missed days.
Paying your deposit indicates that you accept our terms and conditions. We may require a larger deposit if you are booking a custom program, lift pass or private accommodation rental.
NO DEPOSIT REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS:
The deposit cannot be refunded or transferred to another program, with just a few exceptions:
For most program bookings: Your deposit can be refunded if the program or package you requested through our booking form is not available. If this happens we will contact you by email to suggest either other dates in the same season, or a different accommodation. If none of our alternative suggestions are suitable for you, the booking is void and the deposit will be fully refunded. If you would like to know about our current availability before you book, please email us at info@yestours.com to find out whether your preferred options are available.
For the WBSSU program only: If you are not able to secure a working holiday visa, or if you are not selected onto the program following your interview with Whistler Blackcomb, we will refund your deposit payment, or transfer it to another program in the same season.
Unfortunately the credit card processing fees cannot be refunded in any case.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
MORE THAN 60 DAYS BEFORE YOUR PROGRAM START DATE:
Your deposit payment is not refundable, no further payment is due.
BETWEEN 60 - 31 DAYS PRIOR TO START DATE:
Some refund MAY be available if we are able to recoup costs, but this is not guaranteed.
IF YOU CANCEL 30 DAYS OR LESS PRIOR TO YOUR PROGRAM START DATE:
No refund is available. You should make a claim on your travel insurance.
N.B. We consider travel insurance compulsory, and we advise that you take out a suitable travel insurance policy as soon as you book our program. We recommend you make sure your Travel Insurance covers you for the cost of the program as well as your flights and transfers.
IF YOU PURCHASE AN EPIC PASS THROUGH YES:
No refund is available, Epic Passes are fully non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
The only exception to this is if you start working for a Vail Resort (eg WB) during the season they MAY choose to refund part of your pass cost. In this case YES will refund you that amount once it has been received from Vail Resorts.

If you qualify for the Epic Coverage you need to apply for that directly to Vail, we cannot do that on your behalf.
If you are not able to make a claim from Vail, you should make a claim on your travel insurance.
N.B. We consider travel insurance compulsory, and we STRONGLY advise that you take out a suitable travel insurance policy as soon as you book our program. We recommend you make sure your Travel Insurance covers you for the cost of the program as well as your flights and transfers.
GENERAL TERMS:
FINAL BALANCE:
Your Final Balance payment is due 60 days prior to departure. We will be happy to provide you with information about how to make your payment.
If no balance payment has been received by that date, without consulting you first, we may choose to either:
- charge the balance due (plus associated fees) to the credit card used for the deposit payment
or
- cancel your booking with no refund due
PAYMENT METHODS:
For all Instructor Program bookings, the deposit payment is taken by credit card through the booking form on this website as outlined above.
Please note that a 3.5% surcharge will be applied to all credit card charges.
For Improvement Program bookings, we will send you a credit card invoice by email after your booking form is received. Your booking is not confirmed until you have paid the deposit online.

Your balance payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer, either directly to our bank or through a third party currency exchange company. We will send you further details once your booking is confirmed.
If we have not received your payment 60 days before your program start date, we have the right to charge the full balance payment to the credit card you used to pay your initial deposit. If we are unable to charge this card for the full balance we will cancel your booking with no refund.
CAMPS, MULTI-DAY PROGRAMS AND PRIVATE LESSONS:
If you are joining a private group lesson (for one or more days), or one of our CASI advanced programs, your full payment is due at the time of booking. We may not be able to confirm your program will happen until we have enough bookings to run the program. If we don’t get enough bookings to run the program, we will cancel the program and refund your payment.
For the CASI advanced programs, payment must be made by interac e-transfer to info@yestours.com at the time you submit your booking request. If you would prefer to pay by credit card, please contact us and we will send you a credit card payment link. An additional 3.5% credit card processing fee will be added.
Please note: if you are not able to attend all the days of a multi-day program, we will not refund any part of your booking payment.
AMENDMENTS:
If you want to change any details of your confirmed booking, we can charge a fee of $100 per change (plus any change in program price).
This does not apply to smaller extras such as meal packages which can be added or removed anytime up to 1 week before you arrive.
LATE BOOKING FEE:
We may charge a late booking fee of up to $200 if you book less than 30 days before your program starts.
HOLIDAY COSTS:
All our prices are in Canadian dollars, and may change until you have paid the full balance.
EXCLUSIONS:
At YES Tours we cannot take any responsibility for any of the following:
currency adjustments; airport taxes; passport and visa costs; meals; beverages; laundry; excess baggage charges; insurance. Any additional costs caused by weather or failure of transport services beyond our control are also not our responsibility.
YES Tours shall not be liable to any Guest, or any other person or entity for failure to execute or supply the program booked or any part thereof, by reason of any act of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s), or request(s) by any governmental entity, equipment failure, terrorist act, cyber-attack, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe winter weather, hurricane, embargo, labour dispute or strike, supply, labor or material shortages, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, Resort, Ski School or Lesson delays, closures or cancellations, epidemic or pandemic (and effects therefrom), or any similar or dissimilar event beyond its reasonable control.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We at YES Tours Inc. reserve the right to change your program details including dates, prices or schedules in any way, without letting you know in advance. We also have the right to change your accommodation to a property of a similar or higher standard.
We also reserve the right to decline to accept, to cancel or to withdraw any tour person. Refunds will not be made, under any circumstances, for services, accommodation, instruction, lift passes and functions not used and we will not give you an itemization of costs. YES Tours Inc. accepts no responsibility for any accidents, damage, loss, injury, sickness, death, cancellation, delay, detention, deviations, war, strikes, quarantine or other unforeseen events associated with the willful act or omission of any of our agents or principals.
FINAL DOCUMENTATION:
Final documentation will be issued only when a completed booking form and full payment has been received by YES Tours Inc.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We consider travel insurance compulsory, and we STRONGLY advise that you take out a suitable travel insurance policy as soon as you book our program.
We recommend you select Travel Insurance that covers you for the full cost of the program as well as your flights and transfers.
IF YOUR BOOKING INCLUDES AN EPIC PASS OR SEASON PASS:
All Epic Pass and Season Pass purchases are non-refundable to YES, so we cannot refund you once we have purchased a pass in your name.
Although we are not able to get a refund for Epic Pass purchases, your pass comes with an insurance coverage under which you may be able to claim a refund yourself. See details here: Epic Pass Policies
INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM ACCOMMODATION:
DAMAGE SECURITY DEPOSIT:
If you will be staying in our YES accommodation during your program, we need you to give us a $500 cash deposit when you first arrive at the accommodation. This deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, if there has not been any damage to the property during your stay.
If you choose to pay this deposit by credit card rather than in cash, a 3.5% processing fee will apply ($17.50). This fee is not refundable when the deposit is returned.
CODE OF ETHICS:
If you are staying in YES accommodation during your program, we will need you to agree to follow our Code of Ethics. We would be happy to give you a copy of this before you arrive, just let us know. This is to make sure that everyone sharing the accommodation can enjoy their time during the program and be successful on the mountain. If you cause any damage or disruption to your accommodation or impact on other guests, we do have the right to remove you from the accommodation at your own expense.

WANAKA PROGRAM BOOKINGS
Deposit payment:
Deposit payment is required to secure a booking. No booking will be accepted and confirmed without the payment of this deposit.
Please see the section on “Payment Methods” for details of how to complete the deposit payment.
Final Balance:
Final Balance is due 60 days prior to departure, or at the time of booking if less than 60 days prior to departure.
Payment Methods:
As we offer the Wanaka program in both $AUD and $NZD dollars, it’s up to you in which currency you would like to make your booking.
Please note that we can only accept payment by direct deposit in $AUD or $NZD. We cannot accept payment by credit card at this time.
We require a $1,000 per/person deposit to secure your place on the program.

Balance payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer, further details will be provided once the booking is confirmed by YES Tours.
NB: If no alternative payment has been received by YES Tours 90 days prior to the program start date, we reserve the right to charge the full balance payment to the credit card used for the initial deposit.

Final Balance is due 30 days prior to departure. YES Tours reserve the right to cancel your booking without refunding the deposit if full payment is not received on time.

Cancellation:
Minimum fees for cancellations are as follows:
After the initial $2,500 deposit, the final full amount is due by 30 days before the program start date, approximately Dec 13th.
1. If you cancel 30 days or more before arrival, you forfeit your deposit.
2. If you cancel 29 – 8 days before arrival, cancellation fee is 50% of total booking cost.
3. If you cancel within 7 days before arrival, no refund is available.
N.B. We consider travel insurance compulsory and advise that this is taken out when booking. Please make certain you have proper travel insurance for your trip, including medical coverage. We recommend you ensure that you are covered for winter sports, and have sufficient cancellation insurance for the flights and hotel.

WBSSU SKIERS / CREEKSIDE CHALET GROUP BOOKINGS
Deposit payment:
A non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit of $1,000 CAD (+3.5% credit card processing fee) per person and an electronically signed booking form is required at the time of booking.
Should the requested reservation be unavailable the deposit will be fully refundable (processing fees are not refundable).
Payment of this deposit will indicate acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
Deposit Refund:
The deposit paid for the WBSSU program can be transferred to another program, or is refundable if:
- you are not selected by Whistler Blackcomb after your interview
or
- you are unable to get a visa to work in Canada
Payment Methods:
Deposit payment is by credit card through the form on this website.
Please note that a 3.5% surcharge will be applied to all credit card charges.
Program balance payment will be paid to Skiers in Denmark for those booking with Skiers directly. All other WBSSU participants will pay the program balance to YES Tours.
Accommodation Damage Deposit payment of $500 must be paid directly to YES Tours before arrival into the accommodation or in cash on arrival. This deposit is refundable on departure if there is no damage to the property.
Accommodation payment in advance for the full season can be paid to YES Tours until December 19th, 2023. Payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer, further details will be provided once the booking is confirmed by YES Tours.
Ongoing accommodation payment can be made bi-weekly on the agreed schedule by credit card or Interac e-transfer from a Canadian bank account. Note that the full seasonal payment must be paid, see below for more details.
Seasonal Accommodation Agreement:
Your accommodation in a YES Chalet is provided on a full season basis. This means that you are liable to pay the full amount for the season through to April 27th, even if you should choose to leave earlier.
The cost for the accommodation is $4,500 CAD for the season.
If you are forced to leave early due to illness or injury, YES will be happy to provide a letter for your travel insurance which may help reimburse you for this cost.
You have 2 options to pay for your accommodation:
Pay as you go: once you start working in Whistler, we will split your payment into 9 bi-weekly payments of $500. This will fit with your wages payment from WB. You can make this payment for free using Interac e-transfer from your Canadian bank account. If you would prefer you can pay by credit card, however this does add a 3.5% processing fee.
Note that if you leave early and have not made all payments under this option, we will charge your credit card for the outstanding balance (plus processing fee).
Pay full season before December 19th and save 10%: if you choose to pay the full season up-front, we are offering a discount of 10% on the cost to reflect the reduced admin work on our part. So 1 payment of $4,050 CAD will cover your accommodation for the full season. If you would like to go with this option, please let us know and we can provide bank transfer information to facilitate this.
Travel Insurance:
We consider travel insurance compulsory and advise that this is taken out when booking. Please make certain you have proper travel insurance for your trip, including medical coverage. We recommend you ensure that you are covered for winter sports, and have sufficient cancellation insurance for the flights and hotel.
Damage Deposit:
YES Tours requires all clients participating staying in YES accommodation to provide a CAD$500 damage deposit. This can be paid in advance by transfer to our bank account or in cash on arrival into your accommodation. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, subject to a thorough inspection for damage to the property at completion of the program.
The deposit is due at time of check in at the chalet. If you prefer to pay the deposit by credit card, a non-refundable 3.5% fee will apply.
