Europe 2014 – Zurs to Verbier
We awoke Friday to some fresh snow and cloudy skies. We enjoyed our final breakfast buffet then headed out to the Arlberg slopes one last time. Dick's group headed out to St. Anton while Linc and Meesh headed to the Lech Warth area. The snow was good but the visibility was limited. The St. Anton crew headed up the Valluga and then proceeded to miss the turn-off to the bus and had to flag it down on the highway.

The Warth crew were enjoying the empty slopes although the light was flat. The day ended prematurely with one of the crew having a serious crash resulting in an injury and a trip to the clinic. Shaken, the rest of the group continued on to lunch and then back to Zurs. The wrap-up function was subdued as everyone's thoughts were with our fallen comrade.

The snowboard says it all. Poor Dingster.
The next day it was all board the bus as we headed west to Verbier. Many, many switch backs later we made it to town and got settled into our new abode. Tomorrow its onto the slopes.
