Located in New Zealand's South Island, Wanaka is home to the Treble Cone ski area, with a further 3 ski fields in near reach. This proximity to a variety of different terrain, including the world-famous "Snowpark" freestyle mecca, makes Wanaka the perfect location to host our snowboard training courses.
Treble Cone continues to offer the greatest freeriding terrain in the region for snowboarders including plenty of off-piste powder and some extreme faces in the "Motatapu Chutes". There are natural half pipes on the upper mountain and a terrain park is built each year.
Its location in the Southern Hemisphere, means Wanaka has the distinction of offering snowboard training courses when resorts in the northern hemisphere are experiencing the summer months - so course participants can schedule their training programs to supplement their customary winter season cycles.

Yes Improvement snowboard training courses are designed with one purpose in mind; to improve your technique. These are not holidays with board lessons added as an afterthought - these are dedicated snowboard improvement training programs.
We develop your skills in varying terrains to suit your ability level. You will become more proficient when boarding in powder, through moguls, off piste and, of course, on the groomed slopes. The week concludes with a written personalized evaluation of your week, which includes suggestions for future development.
Our programs run from Saturday to Saturday. The majority of our clients stay 2 weeks to benefit from the weekend rest & to practice the things that they learned the week prior. They are then able to capitalize on these improvements & make even greater progress towards achieving their goals.
Wanaka Training Program Inclusions*
• 7 nights accommodation at the Edgewater Resort
• 5 day return bus transfers from Wanaka accommodation

• 5 day Lift Pass
• 1 Board Guiding morning (Sunday)
• 4 Days Snowboard Instruction (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 4 hours/day)
